Who Vitamin B12 is suitable for

Vitamin B12 is suitable for adults aged 18 and over.

Vitamin B12, also known as cobalamin, is a key nutrient for your health. It’s essential for energy production, brain health, and red blood cell formation. It plays a key role in psychological function and maintaining proper nerve function throughout the body. Vitamin B12 is produced by bacteria, not by animals or plants. Therefore humans must acquire it either directly or indirectly from bacterial sources which include animal-derived foods or supplements.

Vitamin B12 contains 1000μg of methylcobalamin, a form of B12. It is designed as a supplement in addition to your dietary B12.

As with any dietary supplement, consult your doctor before using this product, especially if you take medication on a regular basis, are about to have surgery, or are under regular medical supervision.

Taking Vitamin B12 with other medicines

Certain dietary supplements can interact with medications, which may lead to reduced medication effectiveness or adverse effects. Talk to your doctor about taking a dietary supplement to ensure it is safe for you to take and doesn’t interact with any medication (prescription or otherwise) you are taking.

In general, avoid taking your supplements at the same time as your medication as this can impact the absorption and efficacy of your medical treatment.
