How do I reserve my treatment?

How does the Wegovy pill differ from the injections?
The Wegovy pill contains semaglutide, the same active ingredient as the Wegovy injection, and works on the same biological pathways. The main differences are practical: it's taken as a tablet once daily rather than as a weekly injection, there are no needles, and it's stored at room temperature rather than in the fridge. Because it's a tablet, it also has specific administration instructions to make sure it's absorbed properly. Your prescriber will explain these when you're prescribed. Side effects are very similar to the injectable versions, as both work in the same way.

Can I take it if I am on other medications?
Oral GLP-1s can interact with other medicines, as they slow down stomach emptying. Always tell us about every medication, supplement, or over-the-counter product you take. Your Numan prescriber will conduct a full review of your medical history before prescribing to ensure it is safe for you.
How do I store it?
Oral GLP-1s are tablets, so storage is simpler than for injectables: room temperature, no refrigeration. Full product-specific storage instructions are included on the packaging.
Is it safe during pregnancy?
No. GLP-1 medications whether oral or injectable are not recommended during pregnancy, while breastfeeding, or if you are actively trying to conceive.
