Why do I need to verify my identity?

Information on Numan's identity verification requirement

We’re required to do this by UK Pharmaceutical Regulations for prescription medications and blood tests, to ensure we can treat all new patients safely. We use your name, date of birth and billing address (where you live). This regulation applies to all online pharmacies.

Occasionally the automatic ID verification process fails, in which case, we will contact you. It’s likely a small issue, but the easiest way is to reply to the email we sent with a photo of your UK Driver’s licence or your passport (photo page).

It may be due to:

  • Using a delivery address that’s different to the address registered with your bank

  • Having an unusual address format - flats, house names

  • Incorrectly entering your legal name or date of birth

Once you've sent us the necessary documentation, we will verify your identity within 24 hours.

If we don’t hear from you, your order will remain on hold for up to 4 weeks, after which it will be cancelled and we’ll refund you. We do hope we can sort it out before it comes to that.

If you’ve already completed the ID check with us, you won’t need to do it again if you place another order – we only need to verify your identity once.
