To be eligible for a GLP-1 agonist or a dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist, you’ll need to fit into either of the following requirements:
Your BMI is within the 'Obese' category
Your BMI is within the 'Overweight' category. You may also have a weight related medical problem such as high cholesterol or high blood pressure, or have an increased risk of developing a long term health condition which is determined by your waist-to-height ratio.
You may also be recommended an alternative medication or lifestyle advice.
