Ozempic/Wegovy
Before it’s first use it should be kept in a fridge and away from a cooling element. Do not freeze and do not use it if it is frozen.
After the pen has been used, you can either continue to store it in the fridge or in a protected dark environment less than 30°C.
In the unlikely event that the pen has not been stored in a fridge before first use, it will still be suitable to use provided the temperature where it has been stored is less than 30°C. The pen should be disposed of after 6 weeks as per advice from the manufacturer.
Mounjaro

In the unlikely event that the pen has not been stored in a fridge before first use, it will still be suitable to use provided the temperature where it has been stored is less than 30°C. The pen should be disposed of after 28 days as per advice from the manufacturer.

My injection pens aren't cold any more, can I still use them? If so how long will they last?
Your medicines are kept in cold storage throughout the supply chain and while they are kept in our pharmacy. We deliver them to you using a cold chain packaging to ensure a consistent refrigerated temperature during delivery. Our in-house studies have demonstrated that our packaging can maintain the medication at a temperature between 2 - 8 C for up to 72 hours.
In the unlikely event that the pen has not been stored in a fridge before first use:
Ozempic/Wegovy will still be suitable to use for up to 6 weeks after the date of dispatch.
Mounjaro will still be suitable to use for up to 30 days after the date of dispatch.

Your unopened pen will remain safe to use when stored in the fridge until the expiry date. Once opened, you can keep it in the fridge but:
Ozempic/Wegovy should not be used more than 6 weeks after the date of first use
Mounjaro should not be used more than 30 days after the date of first use
My injection pens have been at the parcel shop for a few days, can I still use them?
Your medication is delivered in cold chain packaging which can maintain a fridge temperature (2 - 8 C) for up to 72 hours. If your pen arrives warmer than fridge temperature:
Ozempic/Wegovy will still be suitable to use for up to 6 weeks after the date of dispatch.
Mounjaro will still be suitable to use for up to 30 days after the date of dispatch.
