If you are registered with an NHS GP practice in England, our clinicians, with your consent, may access your NHS Summary Care Record (SCR) to support your consultation.
Your Summary Care Record contains key medical information, such as:
• Your current medications
• Any allergies you have
• Details of any previous bad reactions to medicines
Having access to this information helps assure that any advice or treatment we provide is safe and accurate. If your SCR is not available, or you choose not to give consent for it to be accessed, our clinicians will not have access to information from your NHS medical record.
How We Protect Your Information
Your health information is treated with the highest level of care and confidentiality. We follow strict data protection laws to ensure your details are always stored and used safely.
Your Summary Care Record (SCR) will only be accessed and reviewed in relation to your booking, and only by a registered health professional working for our trusted third party provider on our behalf. This allows them to make a clinical assessment and record relevant comments to your local record to support safe prescribing; only information relevant to weight-loss prescribing will be included.
You are always in control of your Summary Care Record access. If you change your mind, you can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting our Customer Care team. Once consent is withdrawn, our clinicians will no longer be able to view your Summary Care Record for your treatment.
